Retail Sales Associate

Positions Summary

To greet customers with a warm and welcomed presence, guide them through our products by offering brand knowledge, and answering any questions that come up in order to assure our guests have a pleasant experience from start to finish. Assist in the flow of product as it leaves the floor to assure it makes it back out onto the floor as quickly as possible.

• Support Cedar & Hyde’s mission of an intuitive retail experience by anticipating the possible needs of the customer and being knowledgeable of our product offering.
• 2-5 years experience preferred

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with a genuine and warm greeting
• Develop a vast knowledge of the various brands in order to offer a wide range of customer service through product knowledge and how different brands fit different bodies
• Have a knack for understanding how each individual relates to fashion on a different level in order to understand what brands to suggest to what individuals
• Know how to recommend related products in order to give the customer a better picture of our full range of offerings
• Operate the POS and resolve return issues that may arise
• Keeps the store clean and tidy from open to close
• Work with the team to assure all product is constantly being restocked
• Organize the stock room on a daily basis to assist in keeping the flow of product most efficient

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
